Bashundhara Group’s Executive Director, Yasin Hossain Pavel, presented job appointment letters to Abu Saeed’s brothers, Abu Hossain and Ramjan Ali, at their home in Babunpur, Pirganj. This gesture followed the tragic death of Abu Saeed, a student at Begum Rokeya University, who was killed by police during the anti-discrimination student movement.
Mokbul Hossain, their father, expressed deep gratitude, stating, “I am very happy today. Bashundhara Group has given my sons good jobs, and their mother is very happy.” During the visit, he requested blankets for the needy in their village, to which Pavel responded that they would provide as many as needed for the winter.
Ramjan Ali noted that while many had promised jobs, only Bashundhara Group delivered. He expressed gratitude for their support, saying, “We have become members of Bashundhara Group.”
Residents of Abu Saeed’s village also expressed happiness over the assistance provided to the family during their time of need, emphasizing the positive impact of Bashundhara Group’s support.
