Kalerkantho steps into 11th year with festivity

The tenth founding anniversary celebration of the Daily Kalerkantho, one of the leading Bangla daily newspapers in the country, has been kicked off on Thursday with cutting cake.

Bashundhara Group Managing Director Sayem Sobhan Anvir and his wife Sabrina Sobhan, inaugurated the activities of the tenth founding anniversary celebration.

They cut a giant cake at the Conference Room of East West Media Group (EWMGL) in the capital’s Bashundhara Residential area on Thursday night.

Kalerkantho Editor Imdadul Haq Milan, Bangladesh Pratidin Editor Naem Nizam, Kalerkantho Acting Editor Mostofa Kamal and Daily Sun Editor Enamul Hoque Chowdhury, EWMGL’s Publisher Maynal Hossain Chowdhury, among others, were present in the cake-cutting ceremony.

The newspaper is going to celebrate the auspicious 10th anniversary on January 10, 2020, at Rajdarshan (Hall-03) International Convention City Bashundhara, Baridhara, Dhaka-1229.

On January 10, 2010, with a slogan of “Angshik Noy Puro Sotto” (Full truth, not partial), Kalerkantho has started its journey.

The national daily, however, has earned a huge popularity among the readers from home and abroad with its objective and investigative journalism.
