Aiming to strengthen the cement manufacturing sector, Bashundhara Group launched its new cement brand ‘Bir Cement’ on Friday.
Sayem Sobhan Anvir, managing director of Bashundhara Group, announced the launching the new cement brand at Bashundhara Industrial Headquarters in the capital.
The brand was launched marking the 50th Victory Day of Bangladesh.
“Bashundhara Group has always been involved in the development of Bangladesh and we’ll continue to do so in the future,” Anvir said at the event.
King Brand Cement – the first cement of Bashundhara was launched in 1996, while the Bashundhara Cement was launched in 2012, which is the second cement brand of this business conglomerate.
Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) of Bashundhara Group’s cement division Khandaker Kingshuk Hossain, the Group’s Adviser Moynal Hossain Chowdhury, Group’s Chief Operating Officer (COO) Md Tariqul Islam Choudhury and senior officials, among others, participated at the launching event.
