Winter fair at Bashundhara City abuzz with visitors

A huge number of visitors and customers thronged the month-long winter fair being held on the ground floor of Bashundhara City Shopping Complex to buy the products of a number of renowned business organisations yesterday.
3rd Eye Solutions, an event management organisation, has arranged the fair as part of its regular event at Bashundhara City. Stalls of around 10 organisations, including mobile handset brands, holiday makers, chocolate and water purifier, have been erected in the fair.
Talking to daily sun, Naser Mohsin, CEO of 3rd Eye Solutions, said they organise fair regularly at Bashundhara City Shopping Complex, and this year’s winter fair pulls in a huge number of visitors every day.
Mohsin said there are some products in this fair which are yet to arrive in Bangladeshi markets , but they have taken stalls here only to utilise the opportunity of huge gathering of visitors.
Infinix, a China-based smart phone brand, has erected a stall in the fair aiming to make their product familiar to visitors coming to the shopping complex.
Talking to daily sun, Mahi Jawad of Infinix said they have got much better feedback in this fair. They have ‘4-Series’, ‘04 Series’, ‘04 Plus’, ‘Hot Ace’, ‘Hot 4’ models, with prices ranging from Tk 1,990 to 21,990.
“Our new product online met with a favourable response from customers. I believe this product will soon be able to gain popularity in Bangladeshi market’, Jawad said.
Ever Pure, a popular water purifier brand, has opened a stall in the fair showcasing their various models.
Monir Hosain, in-charge of Ever Pure stall, told daily sun they have a number products with prices ranging from Tk 6000 to Tk 65,000.
“People from low to middle income range can buy our products as per their affordability. In October last year, we took part in a fair where we could achieve our sales target. I hope we will have success in this fair too,” Manir added.
Fatema Alam Bithi at the stall of Lava, a handset brand, said their products have gained huge popularity among the younger generation.
“The prices of our products range from Tk 6,000 to Tk 20,000, which is affordable and reasonable in terms of their features. That is why the younger generation like our handsets,” Bithi added.
Chocohive, an organisation selling and marketing imported chocolates in the country, has an attractive stall in the fair.
