BG Brown Atta hits market
Bashundhara Food and Beverage Industries Ltd (BFBIL) has launched ‘Bashundhara Brown Atta’, a type of wheat flour with adequate gluten in it and natural taste.
With the slogan ‘Let Bashundhara Brown Atta Be the Digestive Partner of Your Family’, the product was launched at a ceremony held at Bashundhara Industrial Headquarters-2 in the city on Monday.
Bashundhara Group Adviser Maj Gen (retd) Mahbub Haider Khan, Bashundhara Group Press and Media Adviser Mohammad Abu Tayeb, Daily Kaler Kantho Editor Imdadul Haq Milon, BFBIL and BMF Chief Marketing Officer Rashidul Ahasan, BFBIL and BMF Head of Division (Supply Chain) Abdus Shukur and BFBIL Head of Water Transportation Captain Ruhul Amin were present on the occasion.
The multi-vitamin-enriched Bashundhara Brown Atta is being manufactured under the health and nutrition formula.
At the programme, BFBIL officials said the flour will save the consumers from celiac disease and reduce the risk of colon cancer and diabetic.
Besides, the product will help control sugar in blood and keep the digestion system normal, according to them.
The officials said the item is being produced in fully hygienic way without any hand touch and is being offered in food-grade LLDPE air-tight packets.
They said the consumers can enjoy the natural taste as the Bashundhara Brown Atta is being made from local wheat.
One-kg packet of the product will now be available at all super shops, value shops and other stores and outlets at Tk 46.
