Bashundhara Kings Cup Football Tournament 2018 is running on full rhythm in Rangpur.
In Sunday’s first match, Gaibandha Under-12 team outplayed hosts Rangpur U-12 boys by 3-0 goals. Gaibandha’s Sakibul was adjudged the man on the match.
In the second match of yesterday, Panchagarh junior boys and Thakurgaon played out a goalless drawn game. Mahmudul from Thakurgaon was named the player of the match.
In senior’s category, Thakurgaon edged past Panchagarh senior team by 2-1 goals. Thakurgaon’s skipper Sanzid was awarded the man of the match prize.
In today’s fixture, four matches are scheduled to be held in Rangpur. In junior division, Nilphamari will take on Lalmonirhat boys in the first match while Dinajpur will lock horns with Kurigram in the second match. In senior category, Nilphamari and Lalmonirhat teams will face off each other while Dinajpur and Kurigram will fight it out in the day’s last match.
