Chairman of Bashundhara Group Ahmed Akbar Sobhan has expressed his deep condolence at the demise of Amjad Khan Chowdhury, Managing Director and CEO of PRAN-RFL Group, who passed away in the United States on Wednesday.
In a message on Thursday, the Bashundhara Group chairman said Amjad Khan had contributed a lot to promoting Bangladesh as an export-oriented country and also to its economic growth.
“I express my deep sympathy to the members of the bereaved family and pray to the Almighty Allah to give them strength to bear this irreparable loss and for the salvation of the departed soul,” he added.
A former president of Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Amjad Khan Chowdhury was also the founder president of Real Estate & Housing Association of Bangladesh (REHAB), Bangladesh Agro-Processors’ Association (BAPA) and former president of Underprivileged Children’s Education Programme (UCEP).
