Bashundhara Cement, a concern of the country�s largest business conglomerate Bashundhara Group, organised a technical seminar on �Qualitative Assessment of Cement� for the engineers of Bangladesh Railway on Monday. The seminar was held at the conference room of Railway Bhaban in the city, with Director General of Bangladesh Railway Engineer Md Tofazzal Hossain in the chair. Additional Director General of Bangladesh Railway Engineer Md Amzad Hossain (infrastructure), project managers and assistant engineers attended the seminar. At the beginning of the seminar, Engineer Saroj Kumar Barua, Assistant General Manager (technical support), cement sector, Bashundhara Group, gave a multimedia presentation on the quality of Bashundhara Cement, its technology and logistic support. He also handed over a crest to Railway DG Md Tafazzal Hossain. Speaking on the occasion, Engineer Amzad Hossain lauded the technology used by the Bashundhara Cement and its production capacity. He also stressed the need for ensuring quality of other construction materials alongside quality cement. Appreciating Bashundhara Group for organising such an informative seminar, Railway DG Tafazzal Hossain also expressed his interest to visit the Bashundhara Cement plant. Among others, technical support engineers in Bashundhara cement sector Elahi, Sheikh Amir Hamja and Asaduzzaman were present at the seminar.
