Bashundhara Cement, the country’s leading cement manufacturing company, hosted an Iftar party in the capital on Saturday.
Engineers and top officials of various multinational companies and corporate houses attended the event held at Radisson Blu Dhaka Water Garden.
Bashundhara Group senior deputy managing director (DMD) Belayet Hossain, Kaler Kantho editor Imdadul Haq Milon, Bangladesh Pratidin editor and television channel NEWS24 and Radio Capital chief executive officer Naem Nizam, publisher of the newspapers of the East West Media Group Ltd (EWMGL) Maynal Hossain Chowdhury, Bashundhara Group adviser Maj Gen (retd) Mahbub Haider Khan, Bashundhara Group media adviser Mohammad Abu Tayeb, Kaler Kantho executive editor Mostofa Kamal, DMD (cement sector) Eng AKM Mahbub-uz-Zaman, Bashundhara CFO (cement sector) Md Tofail Hossain, its head of marketing Khandker Kingshuk Hossain and DGM (technical support) Saraj Kumar Barua were present on the occasion.
Speaking at the event, participants said Bashundhara Cement is the largest industry in this sector having highest production capacity.
Bashundhara Cement officials said quality of the brand is ensured by using computer at every stage from raw material collection to final output.
Bashundhara Cement is used in mega projects like Padma Bridge, Rooppur nuclear power plant and Metro Rail.
