Bashundhara Cement holds mason meet in Mirpur
Bashundhara Cement, the flagship cement brand of leading business conglomerate Bashundhara Group, held a conference for masons in the capital’s Mirpur area on Tuesday.
Dozens of masons, who attended the conference at a local restaurant, were imparted training on the proper use of cement in building work.
Palash Akhter, Dhaka divisional sales manager of Bashundhara Cement, engineer Kudrat-e-Elahi, deputy manager (technical support), Debabrata Das, assistant sales manager, Farzana, engineer and Shah Sharif, depot in-charge, were present at the event.
Describing various qualitative aspects of Bashundhara Cement, speakers said Bashundhara Cement industry is the largest industry in this sector having a production capacity of 5.05 million tonnes.
The cement is being manufactured following VRM technology of Germany to boost strength of a structure while its quality is ensured by using computer at every stage from raw material collection to final output. Bashundhara Cement is used in mega projects like Padma Bridge, river training and approach road of the bridge and Mohipal Flyover.
